Bob & Doug McKenzie - "Twelve Days of Christmas" Bob and Doug were characters from SCTV, played by comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. Their local cable show Great White North was a regular feature during the run of SCTV. In 1981, they branched the characters out and recorded an album, also called Great White North (buy), from which this track is taken.
They would later bring Bob and Doug to cult movie stardom in Strange Brew (buy), written, directed, and starring Thomas and Moranis.
